License Practical Nursing (LPN ) is a new introduction in the Philippines . LPN care for the sick, injured ,
convalescent and disabled under the direction of Physicians and Registered Nurses. LPN is also called
LVN ( License Vocational Nursing ) as they called it in California and Texas.
Where do LPN work ?
Licensed practical nurses held about 726,000 jobs in 2004. About 27 percent of LPNs worked in hospitals,
25 percent in nursing care facilities, and another 12 percent in offices of physicians. Others worked for home
health care services; employment services; community care facilities for the elderly; public and private
educational services; outpatient care centers; and Federal, State, and local government agencies. About 1
in 5 worked part time.

visas annually. H2B visas are typically processed in 3 to 4 months.
How can LPN convert to RN while in the US
Being an LPN in the US , you can always upgrade to RN by further studies to ADN or BSN or if
from previous studies is already a BSN you just need to pass the required exams to become RN..
